How do you upload a high quality profile picture on the forums?

I uploaded a screen shot as my profile picture but the quality is so poor i always see people upload pictures with amazing quality how?

    Maybe it is because your picture has the wrong size to upload it on thw right way?

    I'll try to edit it then upload it by editing i mean making it smalker withput using the thing in the forums

    Try to make a full screenshot and ill try to edit it on the right smallness

    It is the easiest thing even the program paint has the ability to make pictures smaller so i can handle it thanks anyway
