    Origins: qbees once where living happy in a city, but they didnt like the city anymore and went to live in the wild, building their own things

    Assuming a block is 1 meter (1 meter cubed)
    A Qbee must be 1 meter or just under 1 meter tall.
    Qbee weight, I'm not sure, however they must weigh very little or have very strong legs as they can jump very high.

    Brain volume, I have no idea, but Slimes have no brain, hence why I'm so stupid.

    I remember before bloody qbee bombs were added we called them cubies.
    Like how the game/currency and everything else is spelled.
    But no they added those stupid bombs and everyone switched to the qbee spelling.
    Are we playing qbeebic castles? do we spend qbeeits? NOPE.

    My answer? See "Cubic Lore". Trouble is, Cortana deleted that page long before I came aboard. If *I* had to guess, though, the Qbee is, in fact, the species name. I also assume they're genderless, since their naked/default body image has no gender-based parts, and they can seamlessly switch between masculine and feminine outfits.

    As for Origins...I get the feeling it had something to do with "The Almighty Cube" and "The Baleful Box." In-game, they're strictly for decoration, but the flavor text hints they had a role in the creation of the entire Cubic Existence.

    And why are Qbee inner soles pink?! The rest of the outside of their bodies is white.

    First, no, I am not glad one way or the other. I do not think Qbee genitals would be awkward (assuming they were meant to have genitals, and whatever the case...How DO Qbees reproduce?! Are they even CAPABLE of reproducing?! :O). Though I am a grown-up, so...

    And the general structure of the Qbee build does not suggest a furry texture, especially judging by that default avatar that doubles as the game's splash/welcome screen. Judging by the jumping power, and given how fast Qbees return to the ground (that is to say, taking GRAVITY into account), the soles probably have something to do with propulsion. But I lack the biology specialization to draw any Real Life comparisons to the phenomenon. If you want to get REALLY SCIENCY!, you're going to have to deal with the fact they can cursing DOUBLE-JUMP! And I have just the video for discussing Double Jumping...

    Well, I did, but then I actually found the "Rules" tab. The clip I want to share does involve a language warning (quite a bit of cussing), so I cut it before inadvertently getting myself into trouble. But if nothing will keep you from SCIENCE...

    The "too long didn't read" version: Qbee soles have some kind of organic super propulsion mechanism on par with rocket boots!


    One more thing! The Almighty Cube was created by Betamax (source: Path of the Cube). Betamax is one of the game devs, but in lore terms, it's almost like he's (or she's) a god.
