Yeah I'm testing that theroy now.
I have a blizzard stamp in one of my plasm trap rooms and a dark stamp in my other one.

I do not understand why people think there's a reward or bonus for catching them all.
I don't know if there is or isn't but it didn't even cross my mind that there would be a completion bonus.
The reward is catching them and having fun with your friends catching them.
Is there a reward for getting a full cave art set? nope.
