How does a Clanstonework?

If I bought the real Clanstone of someone, would I be able to make my own clan or would it be there clan?
I'm not sure!

    You just need to place it and it will ask you to name your clan, after that you can recruit clan members, but they will have to stand on top of the clanstone to be able to get your invitation.

    You can make your own :) Usually if you replace a clanstone it gives you the option to create a new one or use it with the previously existing clan. If you got it from a trade I don't even know if it would give you the latter option.

    I still don't understand. If I get it off a trade would it allow me to set up my own one or would it be the previous owners clan?

    It will be your own. You cannot get the access to someone else's clan like this.

    No if you buy a clan stone from a player it will not b or that players clan. It will only pop up the option to create a new one. :D
