I think when you complete the course, the will be a popup allows you to choose a quest either The office of Ghost hunting ( i think?),if you tap somewhere else, it will disappear and the quest is still completed
To get the opoup again, i think you should reenter the game and jump from the last cloud to the completed platform.

I think I had this problem waaaay back when I did this quest, try doing the course again and make sure you click one of the two in the pop up.

Make sure it's the right course, sometimes bad players copy courses to scam.

If it's the right course, try walking around the finish platform. If that doesn't work trying closing the game and reopening it.
