Bedrock In the Blue Course?!

Does anyone have any Idea why there is bedrock in the blue course, And I know that's bedrock because in the mountains mines you could find a cavern mine doorway and under there is a piece of Bedrock, I've tried mining it (Tip: Doesn't work)
So yeah look for your self, anyone know why?:
