What happens when you can't craft something that multiple websites have said is right?

    or did you make this on an anvil instead of a workbench?

    cuz you can only use tool on a workbench

    The recipe for tacks is Iron Ore with a hammer. But as Swissy said, you have to use a workbench, and not an anvil. There will be a special slot for the tool, as putting it in the crafting boxes won't let it work.
