Was the mine smaller than 100x?
That could be a possibility factor.

Not every mine is always 100x :O
I still come across a 40x every now and then.

It has to do with mines being smaller than 100x100. I will eliminate them on the next server restart.

It felt like a 100x100.. it took me a while to mine the stone out of the area.

I kinda have a guess on why this happens...
Because of the 60x60 and 100x100 mines getting mixed up in one overworld, the system thinks all of them are 100x100, and that when you enter a mountain mine and you see a cave in the "invisible wall" outside the realm, its just because the system thinks its a 100x100 and that it could be placed randomly in that mine, within the radius of 100x100.

100% correct 007, they're outside the mine to us but to the coding, it's doing what it should be and hidden under blocks.

I hope they fix it though, (and make it easier to find them. I bounce around 6 to 10 mines looking for caves)

I have a sweeper now running every 24 hours. All smaller mines should be gone within a day or two.
