    It's an issue in Beta Single Player. They're not playing on the actual server, when they come out of Beta all items received during will get removed.

    Yes, is in adventure mode. I go first to the tomb and get MINING skill, next ICE TEMPLE you have permission to build and mining in the room.
    All this thing I guess will be fixed for the final release.

    Yup, total oversight by us. The latest server on today's restart should make them impossible to mine. It's not too terrible of a bug really- as you can't take them with you and it demonstrates the freedom you have in CC....
