Heres how, yoi will need:
Lava
Any room, no empty

Step 1: clear the room but leave the ores
Step 2: Put lava under a raw ore
Step 3: relog and look what happens

Yup! Not all blocks. Glass also doesn't work for this.

Tried it already lol it doesn't unless they added a new update that changed it.

I tested this many times now. The very funny thing is, you can make ores water, lava, oil, even glass xD
