The Winter Owl seems a swell idea but I think don't think the devs are thinking about flying pets any time soon, and any birds we do already have are flightless. So, maybe they could sit on your shoulder?

You can't determine the prices of things. Although the rarity of them will say whether or not they are cheaper or expensive. Otherwise it sounds pretty neat :)
