the new tech workbench shows all recipes of "advanced things" just like anvil does for the simple ones

The expert workbench will be around for odd recipes that don't fit in the new recipe-enabled workbenches. The current workbench will become recipe enabled at some point, so the expert workbench will give you the old interface for those that still want it and for various special recipes. The tech workbench is the first in a series of recipe enabled workbenches after the anvil. Still to come are the magic workbench, the woodworker's station, the stonemason's bench, etc... each with recipes that match the theme of the station in question. We'll probably roll out one or two new ones with the fall pack later this month.
