Steam download

It's been a year or two since I've last played CC, so I obviously needed to update the game. I go to the main website and click on Windows Installer. I expect it to come up with "are your sure you want to run?" as usual when downloading exe's. Except, it brings me to the steam page, where it tells me to download steam. Why? Did you switch to steam?

They decided to discontinue the windows client and instead run it on steam, it is all the same as windows version. Just on steam. I forgot why they rekt the windows but you can ask someone who remembered XD

I think it was because the windows firewall thingy wouldn't let it pass and would label it as a virus, I remember a few topics being made about it
