Problems with friend requests

Hi y'all. I have a problem to discuss. I sent a friend request to "starbutterfly!" but I left out the "!" so I wanted to cancel the friend request to the wrong one but it wouldn't let me. I always end up with my cubic castles stuck on the "canceling friend request" icon. I left my iPad on for a while and it was still there. I tried a few more times and I get the same results. Is it just my cubic castles, or has anyone else had this problem?
