If you want to have a shorter friends list, you can shorten it lol. And as said before by others, Space's events would be ruined if people could search by owner.

Why a best friend list? You don't know who your best friends are? I mean, that's very rare that all your friends are online at the same time, so it's easy to find them out. -1
