I think the right should be a milk barrel like you can see on the pictures.
Personally I prefer the first one. But you can also add them both.
Concept:
You still milk your cow how it works today but afterwards you can empty the milk jare in the bigger milk barrel. The giant milk barrel would have for example a content of 100 or 250 liters while the small is only 5 or 10 liters. When you empty your milk jare (=1 liter), the milk barrels stores it for you and you can re-use your milk jar.
When you need some milk you only have to go to the milk barrel and fill your milk jare. I think this would be a nice idea to add in game.
