Help can't press my hand!!!

Using Note 8
Problem:Whenever I use another item or block and wanna press the hand to remove it I can't seem to press on it.
Ps:I'm not using screen protector so thats out,and I can press onto the blocks next to the hand button so I guess its the systems problem...

    Are you sure you're pressing the right spot? Cause I sometimes make that mistake

    Yup I also tried pulling the panel up and pressing it
