I want to place things on half slabs without them floating, but then it'll become rather messy. In a game where everything is arrange by blocks, I don't think this will work o-o

I agree it would be nice to not have them float. I was also sad when I made the night table and tried to put stuff on it, and it floated above the table. Also, I'd like to sometimes put two half slabs on top of each other and not have the one float above it (I know, why not just use a whole block, but you might want to put two different half slabs together to make a pattern).
