Sorry for bothering but, how long do chickens take to lay eggs?

I've got a chicken (still growing) and i'd like to know when will it lay an egg.
Also, tiny question, will the chicken lay eggs only when it's fully grown?

    Chickens will lay eggs when they are fully grown only and they drop i believe every 4 days

    I have 2 chickens and i get an egg or two everyday so far, i think how often they lay is totally random. This seems to be the concensus when asking anyone and also whats been stated in other posts
