rotating blocks

so i suggest a new hand maybe a blue one with an arrow (will make a picture later) so this hand you need to click it and click a block its just like placing a block but there's a button to rotate like an upside down cannon and maybe for mobile users you click and you get two buttons 1a big X if you want to cancel the placing and an other button with a big arrow and you tab on it and it rotates by 90 degrees
it would be nice for parkour like cannons from under you
write a comment if you have any idea how to make this better

This would be cool for things like ladders flat across the ceiling like monkey bars or as you said cannons. Maybe would even work on doors so they could be placed on ceiling and floor

You guys forgot that there is no underside on ANY object in the game.
Rotating sideways would not be a problem, but rotating it up/downwards would leave an empty spot where you see trough everything because there is nothing there.

So, for up/downward rotation it would require adding texture to all those items.
But for the close future it might be nice to be able to rotate objects sideways.

You can already rotate them by staying in the direction you want them to be.They will always face you before placing down.(Just hold on the screen and move around until the blocks gets in the way u wanted.

but that doesn't work for all things such as(example) cash register.

Block Placement usually depends on which direction you placed the block from. Try standing in an area and place a cash register on all four sides of you
