Why do so many people say "reserve" on all of the art and poem contests, and never even use it? They always go and make another comment. Might as well get that free .05 karma for saying reserve, right?
I do it bc I actually use it, whereas most people don't. I do it so it gives me motivation xD. I do see your point though. I didn't do it with the poem contest cause I started immediately. I'm almost done, should work on it at some point :/
Also, if you edit your post and add a poem later, nobody gets a notification that something new has been added, and most likely, nobody will see your poem. Your reserved comment will get buried amongst others.
They will check every page, most of my entries have been chosen despite being in the last few pages. I'm not gonna tell you guys to stop, but I'm telling you it doesn't matter. Do what you want, it's just weird for most of us and rather pointless.
Easy event, you just need to be patient or you can find someone to solve the puzzle with.
First of all, google exists you can always type in Old Macdonald and you’ll get the rest of the sentence.
Second of all, you do know that the game is created by adults and played by young children as well lol.
I'll agree that it was way too in-depth for a treasure hunt. My biggest issue is that it was advertised as a new event when in reality it was just a compilation of old events that weren't that great the first time around.
Jack used a team? I mean I know it wasn't in the rules (their is no rules or instructions really) ,but still that's unfair. Don't think it was meant for people to form teams just so they can win think it was made to be a solo adventure race...
I think the event was a little in depth I did have to use google a little but still think it was a good event wish their had been some more guidelines.
I can agree with that party. Also, it was at 9am. Most of the game couldn’t even participate. I think 20 halos in the raffle, and 20k to the first to finish would of been better.. especially with halos being 500k+ ALREADY. They will easily hit 1,000,000c soon.
I didn't have 7 team members, I had 6. We didn't make plans beforehand or strategize, but we were all in a Discord voice call when the event started, and we were telling each other what we found, so we just ended up sharing the prize. It wasn't even officially a "team."
We did not break any rules or cheat. There was no rule against teaming; nor was there a rule that said "This is a singleplayer event." You people can be salty all you want, but we didn't do anything wrong. The raffle is still available.
Sure, everybody has a chance for 20,000c. But, 75%+ of the active players didn’t have a chance for the halo which is FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND CUBITS OR MORE. Jack, please don’t approach this as the winner. Approach it as if it was at 3 am US time and you couldn’t be on.
The amount of time it took compared to the prize is also kind of ridiculous. Now that the single halo is out of the mix, the most you can possibly win is 20k, which seems like a consolation prize considering how much time you have to put into even getting onto the finish bumper in the first place.
Ok perhaps one halo isn’t enough but V time will always be a problem, now let’s just say that time wasn’t a problem for you and U.S citizens, it would still be a problem for other countries, you can’t have an event without time being a problem.
It might not be fun, but the way this event was hosted wasn't fun either.
First one to finish may take some prize.. As some friends suggested, gift piggies would be a great prize for those that finish first. But don't make the main prize of the event a prize for first place for God's sake. That only promotes cheating and going into the grey area of the rules. Dumb decisions have been taken, and they will bring dumb events soon..
Not being salty at all, jack couldv'e teamed up or worked together or whatever if he wanted to (kind of unfair but as I stated their was no rule against it).
My issues with the event:
Could the timing of the event been at a time? Sure, but not the end of the world because of the raffle.
Prizes: I mean...idk I don't think that the prizes were balanced enough because a halo for 1st and nothing else other then a chance to win 20k isn't the most balanced prizes. I think something for top 10 more like and maybe like a 5k-10k raffle. Idk but one main prize is not the way to go if your're doing a race needs to be staggered.
I also think their was not enough instructions/guidelines, when I started the event I was confused so it took me a minute to figure it out.
I enjoyed the event overall even though I have not completed it yet lol.
